Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was born December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Her mother, Esther, was a computer programmer at Lockheed Martin, and her father, Owen, was an electrical engineer and nuclear physicist. Teri was born in Sunnyvale and was a ballet student at San Juan School of Dance. She was a student at Fremont High School, where she was leader of the Featherettes dance team and was named "Most likely to become a Solid Gold Dancer." Hatcher was a graduate of De Anza College, where she majored in mathematics and engineering. She also attended acting classes in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri disclosed that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually harassed her at when she was just five. She also assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's took her own life. Stone was convicted in prison for four counts of pleading in guilty pleas to molestation. While in prison, he passed away from colon cancer.
