Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with topics like race as well as sexuality. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet.
