Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed lyrics in rap that dealt with topics like race as well as sexuality. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she turned her attention to music.
